For an artist who loves water and details, you can find my phone full of photos of just that. This series aims to capture the moment of impact when something is thrown into water. I am consistently watching how myself and others navigate life and how we embrace the obstacles that get thrown in our way.
As my daughters go to college and are thrown into new environments I think about the impact they will have on this space, and it on them. While I am on the golf course with my son he notices the higher score when his ball hits the water, but I notice the splash it creates and how he figures out how to navigate the hole with this unplanned moment. Life is all in your perspective.
