Highland Cow

The long haired highland cow is a Scottish breed of cattle.  For this piece, each hair began as thin piece of glass called stringers. They were each melted strand by strand, and hand shaped before being positioned onto his face.  After all pieces of glass were cut, or melted and assembled, they were placed in a kiln to heat the glass to fuse together. 
This piece includes a table top stand, and is a perfect conversation piece for your home or office.
