I make several bowls each one different. This bowl is made of cut pieces of glass that are fully fused during a kiln firing to a peak temperature of 1500°F This creates a flat glass surface. I then put it back into the kiln at a temperature of 1250°F, at which the glass slumps, or slowly moves to create the bowl shape.
This bowl measures 12" in diameter and is 2.5" deep.
